Z odovzdávania cien 7. ročníka Súťaže mladých onkológov

RNDr. Margita Klobušická, PhD., prezidentka NVR

On the occasion of the 16th Cancer Research Day, the Slovak Cancer Research Foundation organized the 7th Young Oncologist Award. The competition took place on March 7 and 8, and students and young researchers competed in a total of 3 categories: Undergraduate student, Ph.D. student, and Post-doc for up to 35 years. The awards ceremony took place on April 20, 2022.

The aim of the event is to enable young enthusiasts in oncological research to meet and give them the opportunity to present their results of scientific work in oncology. Students and young researchers have the opportunity to experience the atmosphere of a professional event, test their own presentation skills, and share with their peers the results of scientific work. The contributions of all participants will be published in the Proceedings, and for many of them, it will be their first publishing experience.
